I am so spoiled :)
I got to get all dressed up and go have dinner at Olive Garden and go to a musical in Portland! Justin and I went to see Legally Blonde! It was so much fun!!!!!

Valentine's 'n love

i had a wonderful valentines day! (btw it was also the first day of Chinese New Year!)

Bubble painting :)

Today was our valentine holiday happening in kindergarten! alllll the kindergarten classes intermingled through two classrooms to try lots valentine's crafts and games! It was a fun day! at my table was bubble art/painting. It was so much fun and it turns out so pretty! I don't have my camera right now so I can't upload any pictures but it was so adorable!. How it works is students take a 6"x6" square of construction paper (light colors work best)and basically stamp cookie cutter hearts (or any other shape) onto the paper. So the bubble paint is in trays and one or two cookie cutter shapes are placed in the trays. When students pick up the cookie cutters the idea is that a bubble will form around the cookie cutter and then when placed down on the paper the bubble pops and makes a pretty painting!

What you need to do this:
1)paint and soap mixture (half of each) (less is more)
2)trays
3)heart cookie cutters (the more variety the better!)
4)paper (we used construction paper)

Bambinos

So for graduation at Corban I have to complete some church service and community service credits. Finding ways to serve in church was not a problem, however community service was less familiar to me...But! I found this great Christian outreach to the community that I am SOOO excited about! It is a local outreach called Bambinos. It is through a lady from my church (Perrydale) but it was created for the community. Basically they collect clothing, toys, bibs, blankets, shoes and a million other baby and children assesories for families who don't have them or can't afford to buy them. I fell in love with this outreach and I'm so excited to serve and work with the ladies involved in it! Here is the link to their website...Go check it out! Bambinos

Happy Friday!!! We had a beautiful sunny day in Salem! Thank you Lord! I am happy to announce that I survived five observations/evaluations this week :)! two from my cooperating teacher, two from my supervisor and one from my principal. I am ready to conquer the world... (ha ha) Praise God for bringing me through another week!

Today I just wanted to be here...
